KITM FTB forged steel fixed ball valve is developed by using the 30-year design and manufacture experience and international newest technology standard. It can be used in the long transportation pipes of petrol and natural gas and city gas pipe system. Because of the special attribute of the valves for the long transportation pipes, we have considered many aspects in the design such as bearing pressure, safety, weather ability, and reliability for long term using. The sealing and structure design is singular in our company. The operation modes includes hand-worm worm driving, air powered driving, electronic driving, air-powered/liquor blocking, electronic/ liquor blocking, and other special control methods

● Forged steel constructure
For KITM FTB series ball valves, the material of the valve body is forged steel material. Under maximum rated working pressure, it can offer strong enough hardness and has no the inherent defect of casting. By perfect design and choice of the valve intervals, it can offer enough reliability. Separated-body valve body can offer enough thick wall. With the high strong linking bolt, it can be easy for maintenance and bear the pipe stress.
● Low operation torque
For FTB series ball valve, the ball body is fixed ball and the surface is hardened by grinding and polishing. The height of the bearing is bigger than the diameter of the valve bar. So, the friction radius is small and the operation torque is low.
●Reliable sealing
For the sealing of the valves, we use the mesocoele pressure self-releasing valve structure. The sealing of valve seat is finished by the soft sealing material and metal supporting band. The supporting band is axial floating independently. By the pre-compression of spring, the supporting band can realize the low pressure sealing of valve seat. On the outside diameter of the supporting band, we set O type sealing band to realize the sealing with the valve body and design the inflatable graphite ring to realize sealing under the fire state.
●Emergency sealing
We design the adeps casting holes on the valve bar, gland, and the supporting of the valve seat of the wall valve and set the adeps casting valve. If there is leakage for the damage of the sealing of valve bar and valve seat, we can use the sealing adeps to realize second sealing. A check valve is set in the adeps casting valve to prevent overflow of sealing adeps under the dielectric action. The joint of the adeps casting gun is set on the end of the adeps casting valve.
● Double blocking and bleeding
When the ball body is on the full open or full close position, the mesocoele medium can be discharged by the blowing and drilling-break device. At the same time, the excess pressure can be discharged by the pressure-releasing valve seat.
● Drilling-break device
The 1/2″drilling-break hole is set on the top of valve body. After hydraulic testing of valve body, the drilling-break valve can be set. During the moving of valve, we can clean the mesocoele of valve body.
● Fire-prevention design
The design of valve must agree with the API 6FA/API 607 standard and pass the fire-prevention testing which can ensure it is according to the requirement.
● static-electricity prevention design
Because there is static electricity arisen from the friction between metal and plastic or between rubbers, it is risk for the transportation of inflammable and explosive medium. So, for the conductibility between the metal units(such as valve body, ball body, supporting band of valve seat, and valve bar) which is sequestered by plastic or rubber sealing, the stainless steel spring can conform to the requirement of BS5351.
●Material Choice
The material choice of valve fittings conforms to the requirement of the API6D,ASTM, ANSI standard. According to the working conditions, the surface of the fittings is processed by varieties of methods. The sulfur stress resistance conforms to the requirement of the NACE MR 0175 standard.
●Extended valve bar
For the direct installation of valves, the valve bar can be extended. At the same time, the corresponding casting-adeps should be extended to the top of the valve. It is easy for operation.
●Varieties of operation methods
The linking of valve and the driver must conform to the requirement of ISO5211 standard. It can be linked and changed of drivers easily. The conventional driving methods includes hand, electronic-driven, air-powered, and gas-liquid blocking.
